14th Anniversary Retreat Week - Day 4

Andrew Lee (Combat Quilter) will be teaching a quilted coat class. You can also make a vest!
Wrap yourself in handmade style! In this class, Andrew Lee--aka The Combat Quilter--will teach us how to transform a finished quilt into a one-of-a-kind quilted jacket! Don’t worry if you’ve never made clothing before—Andrew will walk through it step-by-step and you'll leave with a cozy, on-trend jacket that’s just as fun to wear as it was to make!
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Students are required to bring a finished quilt to class. (Does not need to have binding.) The quilt must be a minimum size of 60" x 80" to create a jacket up to size 18. A larger quilt is required for sizes over 18 OR if you want to fussy cut your jacket pieces. The bigger the quilt, the more layout options you'll have.
The pattern designer, Twig + Tale, has granted our instructor permission to provide you with a pattern to use during class.

- Finished quilt (see details above)
